Delhi Mandates Aadhaar for Electricity Subsidy
The Delhi government has made Aadhaar mandatory for residents to receive electricity subsidies. An Aadhaar enrolment ID will be accepted as an alternative for those who do not yet have the card. This decision comes as the annual outlay for electricity subsidies in Delhi has surpassed Rs 4,000 crore.
