CJP Leaders Detained at Jantar Mantar, FIR Filed
CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were detained by Delhi Police at Jantar Mantar after allegedly climbing over police barricades to enter the protest site. The incident occurred after they unfurled a tricolor. CJP founder Abhijit Dipke criticized the detention, calling it an attempt to suppress dissent and stating, 'the whole country will become Jantar Mantar.' An FIR has been registered against Das, Ranka, and other CJP members for entering the protest area without permission, reportedly by scaling a gate near the JDU office. They were demanding the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner, Gyanesh Kumar.
