EPFO pushes PF trusts for retrospective regularisation of exempt status
The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is intensifying efforts to encourage Provident Fund (PF) trusts to seek retrospective regularisation of their exempt status. A deadline of December 28 has been set for these trusts to apply for regularisation. This initiative follows the introduction of provisions for an amnesty scheme as a transitional measure within the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) Scheme 2026, which was notified on June 29.
