Cabinet Approves 78-Day Bonus for 11.4 Lakh Railway Employees
The Union Cabinet has approved a Productivity Linked Bonus for approximately 11.4 lakh eligible railway employees. The bonus, totaling Rs 2,009.61 crore, will be paid out as 78 days' wages. The maximum bonus amount an individual employee can receive is Rs 17,951. This decision is seen as a Diwali gift to the railway staff.
