Railways seeks forest clearance for Kalyan-Asangaon fourth line
Central Railways has applied for forest clearance to divert 6.5 hectares of forest land for the construction of a fourth railway line between Kalyan and Asangaon in Maharashtra. This project is intended to benefit commuters in the Kalyan, Shahad, Titwala, and Asangaon areas.
