Actor Imran Khan Issued Notice to Leave India, Challenges Order in Court
Actor Imran Khan, an American citizen holding an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card, has been issued a notice by the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) to leave India by October 28. The notice reportedly stems from his participation in protests, including one against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Khan is challenging the FRRO's order by approaching the Bombay High Court. His lawyer stated that the rules do not prohibit his actions. Some reports also mention a separate notice to EC and Gyanesh Kumar regarding SIR, and actor Imran Khan being asked to leave India.
