Ukraine Resumes Strikes on Russian Energy Targets After Ceasefire Collapse
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced Ukraine will resume strikes on Russian energy infrastructure, stating "We're done" with an "energy ceasefire." This decision follows Moscow's continued drone attacks on central Ukraine's infrastructure. The White House's attempt to negotiate a unilateral energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine has collapsed. Ukraine has already struck a Russian oil refinery. Zelenskyy indicated that Kyiv will restart strikes on Russian oil refineries, suggesting Ukraine has learned how to deal with former US President Donald Trump, who was involved in brokering the now-collapsed ceasefire.
