Malaysia Advises Against Waze, Promotes Local App Amid User Surge
Malaysia's highway authority, Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM), is addressing technical issues with its TuJu navigation application after a significant rise in users. This surge followed a suggestion from Anwar Ibrahim, who advised civil servants to switch from the Israeli navigation app Waze due to security concerns. The LLM stated on Thursday that it is working with the application provider, Prosignal, to resolve the disruptions.
