Manoj Jarange has released an audio clip alleging that Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde received ₹500 crore from the BJP. The clip reportedly mentions the name of Shrikant Shinde. Shiv Sena has stated that this is a conspiracy to defame Eknath Shinde by using Shrikant Shinde's name. BJP MLA Atul Bhatkhalkar, BJP leader Shweta Shalini, and a YouTuber were also mentioned in connection with the Shiv Sena's response.
