Uttarakhand Cabinet Approves UCC Rule Changes and Other Proposals
The Uttarakhand Cabinet has approved changes to the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) rules, alongside 24 other proposals. These amendments to the UCC rules include provisions for correcting names in registered marriages and a revised stipulation regarding live-in relationships, where informing about a previous pregnancy is no longer mandatory when entering a second relationship.
