Indian Navy Tests Rafale Marine Jet for Aircraft Carrier Operations in Goa
The Indian Navy conducted trials of the Rafale Marine jet in Goa to validate its operational capabilities for deployment on the indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant. A specialized ramp, designed to simulate the ski-jump of aircraft carriers, was used at INS Hansa airbase to allow naval aircraft to practice carrier take-offs while on land. The Rafale Marine was the jet being tested on this ramp.
