Diljit Dosanjh responds to CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke over protest row

Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh addressed criticism regarding his response to student protests during a concert in Delhi on Friday, stating, "Don't teach Punjabis how to fight." This statement was in response to Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), who had expressed hurt by Dosanjh's earlier remarks. Dipke had also stated that the CJP would "skip" the INDIA bloc's rally at Ramlila Maidan after meeting with Mamata Banerjee, asserting that the CJP is "neutral." Dipke also wrote an open letter to Dosanjh, using the phrase "Chota bhai samajh ke mitti pao."
