Delhi implements anti-pollution measures as winter restrictions begin
Delhi authorities have announced five major restrictions to combat winter pollution, effective November 1. These measures include a directive for 50% of government employees to work from home and a ban on certain construction activities. The implementation of these anti-pollution restrictions coincided with a deteriorating Air Quality Index (AQI) and reports of choked borders. Experts suggest that an El Niño winter could potentially exacerbate pollution levels in the city.
