Andhra Pradesh braces for cyclone, CM Naidu promises modernization funds
Andhra Pradesh is preparing for another cyclone expected within 24 hours, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu canceled a visit to Delhi and directed officials to issue a bulletin on the cyclone situation. He also promised Rs 3,000 crore for the modernization of Godavari drainage systems in the cyclone-hit state.
