India's Oil Imports Reach Record High in October

India's crude oil imports reached a record high of approximately 5.6 million barrels per day in October. Supplies from the Middle East accounted for around 2.3 million barrels per day, while imports from Russia remained significant at nearly 2 million barrels per day. This surge in imports is attributed to strong refinery operations and the continued strategic purchasing of Russian oil.
