Andhra Pradesh Teacher Organizations Seek Permanent TET Exemption

Leaders from the Forum of Registered Teacher Organisations (FORTO) in Andhra Pradesh have submitted representations to Members of Parliament (MPs). They are urging the MPs to amend the Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009. The amendment sought is to provide a permanent exemption from the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for in-service teachers.
