Ancy Sojan Breaks 22-Year-Old Long Jump Record; High Jumper Also Sets New Mark
Ancy Sojan has broken the 22-year-old national record in women's long jump with a leap of 6.88 meters at the National Inter-State Athletics Championships in Bhubaneswar. In a parallel achievement, Sarvesh Kushare set a new national record in high jump with a mark of 2.31 meters. Sojan's record surpasses that previously held by Anju Bobby George.
