Chinese Dissident Flees to South Korea, Then Canada
A Chinese dissident, Dong Guangping, has reportedly arrived in Canada after fleeing China by boat. He was detained by South Korean coast guard in May for alleged immigration law violations while attempting to reach South Korea in a dinghy. His arrival in Canada was confirmed by a friend.
