Bengaluru plants 15 lakh saplings in 12 hours, enters Guinness World Record

Bengaluru has achieved a Guinness World Record by planting approximately 15 lakh saplings across the city's BDA layouts within a 12-hour period. The initiative, which aimed to revive the city's 'garden city' status, was part of a mega green drive. Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar was associated with the event, which coincided with Kempegowda Jayanti.
