Ousted Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina Vows Return This Year
Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, currently in exile, has announced her intention to return to Bangladesh this year. She stated that the legal proceedings against her were politically motivated and she does not fear death, despite facing a death sentence. Her planned return comes two years after her ouster.
