Delhi Approves Electric Vehicle Policy 2026 with Incentives and Restrictions
The Delhi government has approved the Electric Vehicle Policy 2026, set to be implemented from July 1. The policy aims to phase out petrol and diesel two-wheelers by 2028 and new auto-rickshaws by 2027, promoting electric alternatives. It also includes incentives for scrapping older vehicles and purchasing electric vehicles.
