Delhi Approves New EV Policy, Phasing Out Petrol Two-Wheelers
The Delhi government has approved a new Electric Vehicle (EV) policy aimed at reducing pollution and promoting electric mobility. Key provisions include exemptions from road tax and registration fees for electric cars under ₹30 lakh. The policy also mandates the phasing out of new petrol and CNG two-wheelers, with only electric models to be registered from April 2028, and electric autorickshaws from January 2027.
