CBSE revises three-language policy with exemptions for current batches

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued revised guidelines for its three-language policy, impacting students from Classes 6 to 10. Following concerns, the board has provided a one-time relaxation for current batches in Classes 7, 8, 9, and 10, allowing them to continue with their existing language study plans. The updated policy aims to clarify implementation under the National Education Policy 2020.
