Jewellery stolen in separate incidents in Tamil Nadu
Two separate incidents of jewellery theft have been reported in Tamil Nadu. In Ponneri, a gang reportedly stole 70 sovereigns of gold jewels from a house. In another incident, a seven-member gang allegedly robbed a jeweller's wife of 180 grams of gold. Details on the perpetrators and the total value of the stolen items are still emerging.
