Triple Talaq Cases Reported in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh
Two separate incidents of triple talaq have been reported in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. In Uttarakhand, a woman was allegedly given triple talaq by her husband after she asked for money. In Himachal Pradesh, a woman claims her husband and mother-in-law subjected her to harassment and beatings before divorcing her via triple talaq and expelling her from the house. Legal action has been initiated against the husband in the Uttarakhand case.
