Centre Lifts Restrictions on Commercial Petrol and Diesel Sales

The central government has lifted restrictions on the sale of petrol and diesel to commercial buyers, effective July 1. These curbs, which had previously limited daily diesel purchases to 200 litres for commercial entities, were put in place due to concerns about fuel supply normalisation. The removal of these restrictions is expected to provide relief to various sectors, including hospitals and industries.
