Telangana High Court directs EC to consider Urdu voter forms

The Telangana High Court has asked the Election Commission of India (ECI) to consider providing voter enumeration forms in Urdu in areas with a significant percentage of Urdu speakers. This directive came in response to a petition challenging the current practice of using only Telugu forms. The ECI, however, expressed concerns about the administrative and financial burden of printing forms in multiple languages statewide.
