Army to establish specialized battalions for drone operations
The Indian Army is forming "Baaz Battalions" to enhance its capabilities in operating Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) systems, commonly known as drones. These new units will be built upon existing RPA Flights and will consist of trained personnel dedicated to managing and operating drone technology. This move aims to bolster the Army's surveillance and drone warfare potential.
