Kochi ferries to offer free rides to women
Kochi Corporation's ro-ro ferries will now provide free travel for women. A resolution to this effect was passed, receiving support from ruling UDF councillors. Opposition LDF and BJP councillors did not fully support or oppose the move. This initiative follows a similar decision for KSRTC buses.
