Delhi announces new EV policy, phasing out petrol bikes

Delhi has unveiled a new Electric Vehicle (EV) policy aimed at promoting e-mobility. The policy includes tax exemptions for electric cars priced under Rs 30 lakh and prohibits the sale of new petrol two-wheelers starting in 2028. The move seeks to reduce vehicular pollution and encourage the adoption of cleaner transportation alternatives.
