India Adjusts Fuel Taxes and Purchase Restrictions
India has adjusted export duties on fuels, reducing them on diesel and aviation turbine fuel (ATF) while increasing the tax on petrol exports. Concurrently, restrictions on the purchase quantity of petrol and diesel have been lifted. These changes, effective from July 1, come amid cooling global oil prices and easing supply concerns.
