India finalizes Yamuna water sharing agreement after 32 years

India has reached a Yamuna water sharing agreement, concluding a 32-year-long negotiation. The pact is expected to benefit approximately 7.5 million people. Rajasthan's Chief Minister stated that the agreement's true success will be realized when Rajasthan receives its allocated 0.8 million cubic feet (MCF) of water from Punjab as per the accord.
