A contract cleaner at the Raebareli District Hospital in Uttar Pradesh was filmed brutally kicking a mentally unwell man multiple times. The incident, which occurred while the patient was sitting on the floor, was widely shared online. Following directives from Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, the chief medical officer suspended the accused staffer and initiated an investigation into the matter.
