Anthropic Unveils New AI Models for Research and General Use
AI company Anthropic has announced the launch of two new models: Claude Science, designed as a unified workbench for scientific research, and Claude Sonnet 5, which will serve as the default model for users on Anthropic's free and pro plans. The introduction of Claude Science is part of Anthropic's focus on the life sciences and healthcare sectors. Claude Sonnet 5 is also noted for offering cheaper agentic AI capabilities.
