Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra has alleged that BJP workers protested outside a party meeting in West Bengal's Nadia district, throwing eggs and vegetables. She claimed the protesters were BJP workers and not ordinary people. The West Bengal BJP President dismissed the allegations, suggesting TMC might be attacking TMC.
