Punjab Police Arrest Suspects in Drug and Illegal Liquor Crackdowns
Police in Punjab's Tarn Taran and Fazilka districts have arrested a total of 20 individuals in separate operations targeting illegal activities. The Tarn Taran police apprehended 8 suspects during a district-wide checking campaign, seizing heroin, intoxicating capsules, and illicit liquor. In Fazilka, 12 people were arrested for allegedly running an illegal operation from a salon, with authorities recovering firearms, ammunition, and heroin.
