Demographic committee prepares for state visits and data collection
A High-Level Committee on Demographic Changes is preparing to study population shifts since the 2011 Census. The committee has finalized a detailed questionnaire for states and Union Territories and plans to conduct field visits to gain a ground-level understanding. It will also seek data on electoral roll deletions from the Election Commission of India.
