Delhi High Court rules against Ilaiyaraaja in Saregama copyright dispute
The Delhi High Court has refused to lift an interim injunction against music composer Ilaiyaraaja concerning 134 films. The court upheld that Ilaiyaraaja's rights under the Copyright Act were limited to his musical compositions. Exploiting the disputed sound recordings would constitute copyright infringement, according to the court's ruling.
