Rare Eurasian lynx photographed in Sikkim's high Himalayas
A Eurasian lynx has been photographed for the first time in Sikkim, captured by a camera trap at a high altitude on the Tso Lhamo plateau. This marks the second photographic record of the species in the eastern Himalayan region, following a previous sighting in Arunachal Pradesh. The finding suggests a wider presence of the wild cat in the area.
