Multiple Indian States Announce Administrative Transfers of Officials

Several Indian states and the Delhi government have announced significant administrative reshuffles involving the transfer of hundreds of officials. In Delhi, the Finance and Accounts Department saw 52 officers transferred, with 19 receiving promotions. The Rajasthan Police Commissionerate in Jodhpur transferred 347 constables. Other states reporting large-scale transfers include Bihar (36 administrative service officers), Uttarakhand (state tax department officials), Himachal Pradesh (three HCS and four secretariat officials), and Madhya Pradesh (nine IPS officers, including Superintendents of Police in Shajapur and Shehdol).
