Experts call for strategy to improve access to new cancer therapies in India
Oncologists and experts have highlighted that while new cancer therapies are transforming treatment, most Indians cannot access them due to high costs and inadequate insurance. Speaking at an event organised by the Indian Cancer Society, they stressed the need for a national strategy to bridge the gap between innovation and affordability in cancer care.
