Simla Agreement: India-Pakistan Relations and Its Historical Context
On this day in 1972, India and Pakistan signed the Simla Agreement, an accord aimed at normalizing relations between the two nations. The agreement was signed by then-Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and Pakistan President Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
