Rajasthan Panchayat Fines Couple in Live-in Relationship Rs 21 Lakh
A community panchayat in Rajasthan's Jalore district has reportedly imposed a fine of Rs 21 lakh on a couple living in a live-in relationship. The panchayat also allegedly imposed a social boycott on the family, barring them from religious sites and family events. An FIR has been registered against 11 individuals based on a complaint.
