Delhi court denies bail to Umar Khalid, Sharjeel Imam in riots case
A Delhi court has denied bail to activists Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam in connection with the larger conspiracy case related to the 2020 Delhi riots. Both have been in jail for nearly six years without trial. The court cited a Supreme Court decision as binding in its ruling.
