Kaleshwaram barrages operation awaits safety clearance and repairs
The operation of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (KLIS) barrages will only commence after receiving clearance from the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) and the Central Water Commission (CWC). This decision follows the need for repairs and ensuring the safety of the structures. The clearance is a prerequisite for the barrages to be put into operation.
