Jammu & Kashmir suspends officials over controversial school books
Eight education officials in Jammu and Kashmir have been suspended following the discovery of books in school libraries containing content described as pro-separatist. The Jammu and Kashmir administration has withdrawn the books and ordered an inquiry into the matter. The Lieutenant Governor has also called for an examination of university and college websites for anti-India content.
