Election Commission notices K Kavitha over new party name
The Election Commission of India has issued a notice to K Kavitha concerning the name of her new political party, Telangana Rakshana Sena. The notice was prompted by over 1,100 complaints, including one from her former party, BRS, alleging similarity to the former TRS party name. Kavitha was reportedly asked to change the name despite having accepted a name change.
