Activist Sonam Wangchuk's health declines during hunger strike
Activist Sonam Wangchuk's health has deteriorated on the seventh day of his hunger strike, which is part of a 15-day protest. He has reportedly lost 5-6 kilograms. The CJP (Citizens for Justice and Peace) has called for nationwide solidarity fasts and urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address the protest and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged exam irregularities. A delegation from Samyukta Kisan Morcha is scheduled to join the protest.
