China releases detained pastor after months, following US intervention
A pastor from an underground church in China, detained in October, has been released. Rights advocates and a Christian NGO confirmed the release, which occurred weeks after former US President Trump reportedly raised the case with Chinese President Xi. The pastor had been held for months in southern China.
