Telangana BRS seeks EC extension for SIR schedule
The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party has urged the Election Commission of India (ECI) to extend the schedule for the Special Investigation Report (SIR) in Telangana by one month. A Telangana forum also made a similar appeal to the ECI, requesting an extension and the launch of a multilingual awareness drive. Separately, Telangana's Minister KTR has been urged by an MLA to apologize for alleged failures related to the Kaleshwaram project. In other news, Minister Nara Lokesh has sought assistance for a Telugu family stranded in Hong Kong and encouraged Korean Telugus to invest in Andhra Pradesh.
